Swallow The Anchor is our family home that we want to share with you. We go through great lengths to welcome you with all the amenities we enjoy personally. A lot of planning has gone into your stay. Please do not mistake our HOME for a HOTEL.

 

Why we are different! ~ Our check in and out times are earlier and longer than most in the industry and we have spared no expense in the details. We ask you to read the rules and treat our home, the house rules and the laws that govern us with respect so we can continue to provide a wonderful stay for years to come.

 

~Extra Guest Fee: We charge a small fee per person after 4 guests ( Per stay). This allows smaller groups to stay, who otherwise may not afford to do so. The additional fee's per person, go towards housekeeping and amenities.

 

When contacting us, we want to know a little something about you and your guests. Please make sure you have read, acknowledge and share the House Rules and County Ordinances. Make sure that you meet all age requirements for a stay at our property. We will do our best to cater to you as individuals.

So much effort is made in making sure you feel like the house is brand new each and every time and we are invested in your stay. In order to do this, it takes some effort from our guests as well. We require separate forms for House Rules & City Ordinances and Parking be signed by each guest.

***All forms must be received 72 hours (3 days) prior to your arrival

Swallow The Anchor Beach & lake House RULES & COUNTY ORDINANCES

 

*This beach house is available as a vacation rental by virtue of a permit issued by Clatsop County. This permit is placed in jeopardy when the surrounding neighborhood is impacted by a guest's stay.

 

-Each guest (occupant) is required to sign a guest information and parking request form, Lake use liability waiver, COVID-19 Liability Waiver & Ordinance and House Rule acknowledgement form.

 

-We issue $250.00 fines for each violation of County Ordinances and each House Rule.

 

-We Charge for damages.

 

-We evict guests for violations without refund and if actions of our guests. lead to our permit being placed on probation or revocation we hold violators responsible for all damages foreseen and unforeseen.

 

-We charge $45.00 per hour for time spent enforcing the city ordinances and house rules (reminding you, asking you or billing you or evicting you). *We are not free adult babysitters* In Booking this property you accept ALL of these terms.

 

-Minimum age requirement: 27

 

-Maximum Occupancy (in or outside) is 14 (infants and children count as 1) (all visitors must be included in your head count even if they do not stay overnight) * Please do not split occupancy with other houses in the community*

 

-We Use Surveillance cameras outside the property and they record 24/7

 

-We require all guests to sign Rules, Ordinance & Fine acknowledgement, and COVID-19 waiver.

 

-NO PARTIES * DO NOT RENT OUR HOME ON BEHALF OF OTHERS*

 

-NO SMOKING Or Vaping (Not on or near the property)*Prefer Non-Smokers

 

-NO DRUGS (Of any kind *Legal or Not)

 

-NO URINATING OUTSIDE (It's sad we have to list this)

 

-NO PETS* NO THERAPY PETS* OUR KIDS HAVE ALLERGIES

 

-FOUR CARS MAXIMUM * AT ALL TIMES* DRIVEWAY ONLY*

 

-NO Noise from 10:00 pm to 8:00 am * All guests must arrive before 9:30pm as car alarms and unpacking vehicles, doors slamming is annoying to full time residents!

 

-NO SHOES WORN INSIDE

 

-Any special occasions such as weddings, receptions, family reunions or birthdays must be disclosed at the time the reservation is booked and is subject to owner approval, as events like these tend to increase or exceed our maximum occupancy which is a violation of Clastsop County.

 

-Speed Limit is 25MPH in Surf Pines and Monitored *Roads are narrow*

 

-This house is in a private gated community. A pass code will be assigned to you for the length of your stay. You are responsible for anything that transpires using that code. *There are surveillance cameras at the gate recording 24/7 (in use by community security)

 

-Surf Pines maintains six public paths for your use to walk to the beach.

 

-We have a private easement to Sunset Lake from our property.

 

-STAY ON PATHS* DO NOT TRESPASS on other properties.

 

-Hunting, shooting and fireworks are prohibited in Surf Pines. Fires are allowed on the beach.

 

-You will be required to wash your towels, start your dishes, brush the grill, remove your items from the house refrigerator and garage freezer, recycle appropriately, put games away and sports equipment back where it was found, and shake and rinse out sand from toys before you check out.

 

-In general if you use it, put it away, open it then close it, make it dirty, clean it, break it, you buy it. **If you use it all up, replace it with the same item or similar, let us know or pay it forward.

 

Wine Pulls are $35.00 each, unless marked otherwise and proceeds go to charity.

In booking this property you agree to All the terms outlined in the House Rules, Additional Rules and information posted throughout this Airbnb listing.

We do not accept mitigation of damages through Airbnb's Host Guarantee Program. If something is damaged we expect for the booking guest to be responsible for all damages seen and unforeseen. This includes any fines, probation or loss of permit use due to guests violations.

Cancellation Policy

For All Homes and Trailers:

​

Full refund for cancellations made within 48 hours of booking, if the check-in date is at-least 14 days away. 50% refund for cancellations made within at-least 7 days before check-in. No refunds for cancellations made within 7 days of check-in; new COVID-19 Policy: full refund if our properties or trailers are restricted from service. Full refund for any traveller with documented case of COVID-19.
